"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the life they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible isn't a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing." -Muhammad Ali
These are some images I sketched (freehand) of the views I get to see every day around Fort Collins.
The Oxbows of the Poudre River
"It looks like a summer camp. The owner had to work with a difficult water-use situation. The old timber buildings are the starting point, and creating the water stream is so sensitive. It looks simple, but it is difficult to make it look natural. The strong part is the water. The site plan organization is of merit here. The site plan gives a sense of the stretch of the river. I love the elasticity, and the buildings are organized as a farm in context with the nature.”
